Adam Gilbert

Here is a part of the article staring Pete Seeger at the Solar Expo Jam written by Bob Price of the NJ Herald.

For singer-songwriter Adam Gilbert, of Hamburg NJ, the festival is a chance to get exposure for his new album, "A Generation Of Forgotten Kings," which is about hope for the future and setting a good example for our children, our next generation. It's no stretch to find Gilbert's intelligent music fitting in at this festival. Music critic Nick Deriso wrote, "Gilbert makes a stirring call for generational unity toward change." I feel like my music blends with the clean energy theme because of few of my songs talk about social responsibility, which includes taking care of our environment." Gilbert states in one of his songs, "time for us to clean things up and make things anew, cause generations have their test lets see what they can do, let's see what we can do!" This lyric is a challenge for us to improve in many aspects of our lives to not only benefit us but to benefit the future. Gilbert like so many others, says he is inspired by the 93 year old Seeger. "He has been the master of using music to communicate his message, which is so inspirational. The man is all about seeking truth, challenging the system, speaking out, asking the questions and showing no fear in doing so. And he is still doing it...what a mission.
